Super Fun, Colourful Wedding at Preston Court

Daisy and Josh tied the knot on a gorgeous, sunny day in June at Preston Court in Canterbury, Kent. They absolutely nailed the ‘colourful and fun’ brief and it will be a wedding I will always remember because of how relaxed and effortless the whole day felt.

Bridal prep was at The Barn in Sandwich, a stylish modern air bnb with tons of natural light and lots of open space. The morning, as expected was so chilled and filled with laughter and excitement. Daisy looked incredibly cool with her bow veil and quirky bouquet with tiny disco balls (you’d never guess they were faux flowers!). As did Josh in his pale blue suit, quite different from the usual suit colours we so often see.

Preston Court tends to attract the more relaxed couple and I always know it’s going to be a good day when I get booked to shoot a wedding there. Especially when I’m working alongside the lovely and talented videographer, Truly Madly Films.

The sunny drinks reception led to dancing on the lawn while Thomas Abrahams Music brought all the vibes! I felt like I was on holiday, all I needed was a mojito! They had candyfloss, the carousel, funfair games and a champagne tower, such a fun day!

The evening finished with Daisy and Josh dancing with their friends in the golden hour light and then in the barn to party with huge cut outs of their adorable cat!
